In an effort to generate some discussion on BAF, I propose that we conduct our own voting to determine the best anime series of 2007. Since the 2008 Spring anime season will begin in mid-April, this should give us a chance to see what the peaks from last year were and generate some anticipations for the coming season. I have already discussed this idea with Tow3r, MK1, and a few other members, and have been researching it for the past month. At any rate, here is the proposed process:
1. This thread is used to determine the nominees.
2. BAF Members read descriptions of the series on the links below.
3. They then post which they think sound like the top four series in this thread.
4. Once the field is narrowed to four nominees, torrents will be posted and we will adjourn for a month to let the BAF members watch each series. During this time, threads will be established for each nominated series.
5. After everyone has had a chance to watch the nominated series, a poll will be created for one week for members to vote on which series is best.
A few ground rules for what can be considered.
1. No OVAs or Movies can be nominated (if this works out well, we can always create one for them).
2. Some series were continuations from 2006. In the case of these series, only the episodes from 2007 can be considered.
