Tell us the most sad moment you watched in anime. If possible post a little preview pic of the scene on your post using "img right wrap" tag (something about 100-200px).
I still will have to think on my saddest moment, i will post it later :sheep:
Note: Im not posting this thread in "Sad anime category" because sad moments occour in any type of anime.

the end of chrono crusade hands down wins for the saddest moment for me. i was so distraught after seeing that ending. i just started sobbing and i couldn't stop. i'm pretty sure that even if i watched it over and over (which i don't plan on doing) it would still make me cry just as hard as i did the first time i saw it. the emotion in rosette's voice (in the dub version) really hit me hard.

I do agree with you, Goku_B. This is one of the saddest moments i've ever seen in an anime.
I also found it very sad in Naruto when Sakura thinks Sasuke has died after fighting with Haku, as well as when Sasuke decides to leave Konoha's village and that Sakura tries to have him staying with her...

I have to agree with you here on Chrono Crusade.... That one sucked you in with the comedy.. then just got progressively darker and more dramatic until the saddening end... Even though you can tell how its going to end for Rossette from early on in the series it still rips at you emotionally at how they handled that whole event.... They did a great job... too bad they ended it so early though, because they had some really good characters and could have ran another season or so and still been very popular....

And the other comedy turned drama was Mahoromatic..... It also basically tells you from the get go Mahoro's days are numbered.... literally!....
