Patlabor OLD? Sheeeeesh, now I really feel ancient. Maybe I should find a retirement home for old anime buffs somewhere. Someplace where people have heard of the same stuff I used to watch.

Guess i'm wrong too, last year, my bro invited me to watch a patlabor movie in video. I watched it and it think that movie was created sometime in the mid-90's or so.

Hey, Asgard! Don't worry about it buddy! I'm not offended by that thread at all. I just love to joke around, and make people laugh. I also poke fun of myself a lot about being old or whatever, so don't worry about offending me in any way. If ever something bother's me I prefer to keep it discreet and friendly so MAYBE I'll send a private message if that ever happens. It hasn't happened so far and any concerns I've ever had have always been taken care of on friendly terms. Patlabor is an old series from 1988, even though the movies are from the 1990's. Incidentally, Patlabor 3 "Wasted XIII" was supposed to come out after the first Patlabor movie. But there were delays in production, and it was finally released 2 years ago. Just a little bit of trivia there. (^_^)

Patlabor is the big police robots right? Yeah, I like that one, I don't know when did the movie come out?

Yeah, that's the one Peng. I believe the 1st movie came out in 1989, the 2nd in 1991 and the 3rd in 2000. ( I think)

i remeber playing a game for Patlabor, it was really fun, but i've never seen the series.

I only played the demo one...the one that is free in the "Macross, Do you Remember Love" ps game.

its a shame this thread has gone cold because i also like the Patlabor animes, i have all three movies, the original OVA and vol 1 of the manga. i wonder if this post will become a thread warmer?
