is it legal to give a direct link to a bittorent download file? [not from my host from mybittorrent.com for example]
like you got there in the bittorrent in the menu

Well, yes and no. In the case of the episodes and such, the 'raw' or japanese without subtitles, are not illegal strictly speaking. It's no different than recording a TV show at home. Fansubs, as I understand, are only illegal after the rights to the show have been bought for the purpose of selling. Since they would obviously be making their own subbed a dubbed versions, any distribtution of fansubbed episodes would be considered an infringement of copyright. For movies and such, it is illegal no matter what. I'm sure I am incorrect in some way here. All I ask is that I am corrected in a civil manner:E

as i understand... but i may be incorect,

FAnsub is llegal and illegal
because
example in my country green green is not licensed so if i download a fansub it will be llegal
example 2 i download a anime that is licensed that's another story x.X

It is, but it's pretty much impossible to police it.

im against ilegal downloadn anything.Trust me its not worth it.I got caght & had to pay $3,700 to stay out of prison.that may not seem alot to sum ppl but its ALOT to me.

Only because the EBs are sticking big paychecks in lawyers pockets to make them turn their votes to "Guilty", regardless of the EB's bullying.

They wonder why piracy is so high! Maybe its because of certian comapnies damaging our industry for no real reason.
