satanism is really quite interesting. it isn't all "lets go sacrifice some pathetic animal" it is a study of reality and the role Satan, Lucifer, Belial, and Leviathan (the four princes of the underworld) play in the world today.

Hmm...didn't know that. Well, about Leviathan, I mean. Not my cup of tea, though.

Anywho, Scarlet-san, 'coming out of the broom closet', as we call it, is a very tough thing to do. My mom was scared to death when I told her I was a witch, really. Dad didn't mind that much, I doubt if he even knows. Best thing to do is to wait until you're absolutely sure about it. With me, after like a year of not telling anyone, I just wanted to tell the world, so I did. ^-^ Until you're 200 % sure, it's best to stay quiet.

Well. i'm catholic for the first 13 years of my life. Now i'm nuetral. meaning I don't believe that there is something or someone that is a god nor do i assume that there is a god either.
I was catholic before because my parents and their parents and so on were catholic I think that they considered baptism as a tradition of our family.

Although i haven't told my parents that i'm nuetral, I think my father has a clue. But i don't have any intention of telling them anytime soon.

Yeah that's right!! i really believe that everyone should be given the right to choose what they want to believe in.
But sadly, the Catholic church advises their "believers" to baptise their children as early as possible.

if someone was baptized as a catholic, do they still have the freedom to choose thier own religion? do they have the right to change it? i personally extremely dislike the catholic religion i was born into and want to know if i really can just take it back and live like i was never baptized...

technically they can't actually pick ur religon fur u. even if u were baptised, or they have ur name on some officiall list...in the end though it doesn't matter what they might say, it's up to u not them to make ur own choices. no one can ever take that choice away from u! never!

Sadly, as my professor in theology said, once one is baptized in catholic that person already has the mark of a catholic. although, i think you are still free to choose your ow religion.

The path you chose to travel is your own. It can lead you back to where you started, or bring you to a totally different destination. The begenning and the end are not important though, it is the journey that defines you, and whatever role you play in the cosmos.

My parents could not agree on which denomination I should be baptized (Anglican or Methodist) and so I narrowly avoided baptizim, but I know horrible people who have been baptized and lovely people who have not, the reverse is also true. This tells me that baptizim means very little, except that your parents wanted you to be Christian.

Well it is what you believe in that you will follow, right? If you don't believe in something, you wouldn't wnat to follow that now would you?
Although you may already belong to some religion, it is your belief that guides you where to go.
So basically, you have the right to choose what to believe in.
If you don't believe in wthat others believe, then don't be afraid to be different.
