Who here's been affected by the new craze yu-gi-oh!
I HAVE!wheather you hate it, or love it(i do) there's no escaping the anime craze.
Frist pokemon ( i love that to) now yugi-oh, when will it end( hopfully never)

Your thoughts?

I hooked in the card game for a little while.

I get annoyed by the craze about it, but besides that, I really like it. I'd been playing the gameboy-game of it a while before it became such a hype, but even now I still love it. Mai's my absolute favorite, followed closely by Yami Yugi and Tea.

Sorry i have to ask but - "bishi"- what does it mean?

Bishi stands for Bishounen, which pretty much means 'pretty boy'. So when I say that, I mean that I think he's really cute. :)

No kidding. :bg: I kind of thought you liked them already. I'm surprised that Imi-san hasn't said anything about Bakura yet, really.

Bakura's ok, but he gets taken over by evil to much.I mean i've seen pretty far into the series and that boy has some serious problems with his other evil self.Oh and the evil him is not a pretty sight. :bounce:

I only like the manga... I tryed to watch the anim on tv but... I don't know... first of all I don't really like when french television changes the characters' names (but I think it's not only frenchies who do that) and I think reading the story is better than watching it... (I don't have any tv anymore at home so that solves the problem... ^^')

anyway!!! if someone cares to know! may favorite characters are Bakura, the Yugi of the puzzle (because at my point of the story out in france we don't know his name...), Anzu (Tea?) and Honda (I think it's Tristan...) voilà!

It's translated here aswel, but instead of using the japanese names (like Honda), they use the english names. In any case, Yugi from the puzzle is called Yami Yugi, it's the same as the Bakura from his millenium ring is called Yami Bakura. They do call them just Yugi and Bakura, though.
I've never seen the manga yet, but sometimes I think the anime is a bit annoying. That constant battling. It's interesting, I won't say that I don't think it is, but it just gets kind of annoying after a while. I love seeing Mai battle, though.

The card battling is very cool, I like it. I'm a yugioh card collector too and I do have some powerful cards! My favorite character is Serenity because she's so caring and nice. My favorite series is after the duelist kingdom when they have the Egyptian God Cards.
