well if you know it may seem that a goddess lives forever but that is not really true since belldandy mentioned it in season 1.. 1 sec in heaven maybe few hundered years in earth.. it was mentioned in episode 12 or 13.. so belldandy isnt immortal who lives forever.. but she is currently 21 yrs old on season 1 which makes 22 on season 2.. if she is on earth she ages like normal human does..

you're wrong....she's just comparing about how far the time in heaven goes different in earth...but she dowsn't say that she's capable of dying......she's immortal and immortality is eternity which means forever...

there are even evidence which points out even god dies.. like in the ah my goddess the movie.. celestine ones said that that thing which judge ppl relation ship or love was created by gods from distant past.. so it still proves that they will die either in heaven or earth..

maybe if we based these things upon the series and the movie it'll be just like that...but in the common knowledge of people it is hell that burns them till forever...

Oh well, if the Gods and Goddesses are immortal, i think Heaven could be very populate because there will more new Gods and no one left

That's a hard line to explain...

I believe that eternal has links with time and such, like its existence is not bounded by any defined timespan.
And inmortal is something that can't be killed by normal means (and too avoid normal time related death).
And as eternal you "are created" with it, an inmortality you can archive it (but gods/goddess already have it).

Something that way, I have to read a bit to see it I'm right or not.

Found my writtings about that. It's a bit old, but I think it is fine to read.

Eternal is a state that defines the following things: an eternal begin has no bounds to any timespan and can't be easily destroyed by a power level of one like Almighty. Eternal begins can only be sealed as a measure of control. Eternal state can't be given. Good examples: souls, gods/goddesses and demons.

Inmortal is a state that defines these things: it referencees to non-energy bodies, meaning it never dies, but can be destroyed by special means (for example, one with Almighty's power can do that). In normal death cases, the individual can return from the death. Gods and Goddesses are inmortal begins as well as demons are. For example if we blow up a demon, it WILL return. For AMG fans, see Marller. Inmortality itself can be given to a mortal individual if pleased.

Eternal beigns normally have inmortality.

A better writting about it.

Eternal is a variable that normally defines a begin that do not show any binds with timespan. It also says that the begin is expected to not be connected with non-energy bases, like a body. Thus, gods and goddesses (as well demons) are special begins in this area. Their bodies share non-energy parts, but they can easily transfer form matter to energy and vice versa. Thus this effect owns them variable protection. Depending of the world, eternal begins can be killable with necessary energy output in specific areas. But this thing can only be archived by other of the same level or lower levels with very special categories. If we take the goddesses and demons from the AMG world, we see that they have a so close connection with the material side so it allows that they can be really killed by their own level.
And to mention, it is impossible to give the eternal "state". In addition to eternal state, they receive the inmortality effect as well. But there are non-material examples that almost renders them invincible to killing, and even when they use a material body (that's when they get inmortality effect).

Inmortality is a material only effect. It renders the subject immune to the common timespan of the time cycle. But an inmortal begin can be killed by any means, returning in any of the cases if the methods used were common. Normal killing will only stop them for a period of time. There are special methods of killing that can really "kill" an inmortal body. And inmortality can be given and taken as pleased if the subject is a low level like a mortal.
