the story is a bit like Inu Yasha except i find it much better and way more interesting. the story line is deeper and the plot is more exciting. has anyone else read any of the books or does any one know if there is a show out for it yet?

I think that the story goes as 2 girls were warped in an ancient world, and then the two are seperated and worse, they have to fight each other.

think i watched a bit of that on AXN, but back then i wasn't hooked yet on anime as i have too much homework to do.

Fushigi Yuugi is one of my favorites! all elements are present in this story. i just love it! even though there's some :censored: parts...the plot is reallly nice

the author is Yu Watase (hope i spelt it right ^^') she is the one who wrote ceres as well so of course i knew it would be a good book! i'm just happy i found other people who like it as well!

Yuu Watase is an amazing artist and I've been planning to get my hands on the Fushigi Yugi books after I'd bought and read Alice 19th. The drawing style is really nice, but that's basically all I know.

its so hard to find all the good manga here ^^' the book store in the mall has only just started selling fushigi yugi and only has a few other titles to choose from. i wish they had the whole fushigi yugi series though because its sooo cute!
