 Yes, can't wait!
It's OK, would like to have it.
 Not worth my time.
Sticking to Windows XP or later

will win vista be okay if the processor is P4? :inoc:

It should be fine, but I make no promises. It does rely heavily on RAM and your video card though. Post your specs and I would be able to tell you more.

Some stores in Akihabara started to count down for selling Windows Vista now. I can't go to these event because I live in Shiga Prefecture, but I think some Vista fan are crazy about the countdown in this time...

I love the international date line! You lucky people on the other side get it before we do! :P I hope the launch goes well.

You can see that information at this page .

You should use Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor if you want to check whether Vista can be operated in your environment.

Its just another upgrade, that will look ancient in about 5 years...or less.
Stick to what works, untill the computer won't work without it.

I hear the security of Vista is very annoying. They say that pop ups keep coming up saying allow or don't allow. Is this true?

well.. my friend has Vista. and for me, its not my taste (for now)
its internet security is very, VERY strict...
i cant play my online games well... it wont allow it to patch through
not all games, but games that arent yet Vista-ready are the games i play x_x

im still hoping for the future of vista though,
but for now, im still using Windows XPse

I think default network setting of Vista is more strict than XP. And I'm not interested in Vista, because there isn't have a lot of changes from XP.
I'm belong to system administrator at student council of university, but I'm not going to upgrade all PC to Vista.

yes that is true, however it really is not that annoying, for the internet security it really a matter of checking your firewall and letting games through, otherwise it is a lot like xp, with all the updates now it really is running as good as xp, but all i have been using is xp so i could be wrong

all those things you got in vista wont worth it if you dont have a very strong computer
both for vista and gaming..
i rather wait to stronger hardware come later so the "at least" will be cheap to run and play on vista then putting vista that will take half of my ram and half of the proccecor witch will be bad because there will be nothing left for the games to play on and i play on badass requierments
