i was thinking on that, usually AMG is broadcast in the middle of the summer, but i can see that better rating was done in the scholar season

this could be an incentive to programe the broadcasting to october 2007, but we must to wait the episodes 23 and 24 to know what will be de direction of AMG in the future

According to MK , a 3° season depends a lot of the sales of last dvd vol (8).

Well, with the 20° anniversary getting close, Im sure were going to have great surprises ( the 3° season :) , the end of the series :(................)

Im sure theyre going to make a thierd season and/or a movie, but in the worst of the cases they at least theyre going to make some special ovas.

All of us want a third season and/or a movie, but what else we can expect ????:D

I received a email telling me that my account in BAF is dead. Well, in spite of the situation of my account, i will post a mail to reactivate my modest participation here. As i said, i am moderator in Goddess Project and here i got troubles to access and to get level to access to info that i wanna see. That´s why i don´t write here, because the moderators don´t wanna say me anything about how i can get a better level of user here.

Well, i will post relevant information of the third season as i posted GP few days ago, for your information. I hope to not generate disturbing to us.

This time, i´m gonna talk about facts, just facts.

First: the sales in Japan are steady and AMG always has good sales (that´s the reason why on 22 will sale the game and the 23 will sale the new episodes)

Second: as we know through Pixiebell and Goo.net, the only obstacle to do a third season is Hidenori Matsubara, he got too many job with Evangelion and other projects (Red Garden actually) Godha can return without troubles but Matsubara is the responsible of the animation and the series is not the same without him.

Third: The new director of the episode 24 (Hiroshi Akira) and the new director of painting (Jun Watanabe, colaborator of Matsubara in the second season) are trying to fit the style of animation to the manga style, we don´t know if the new team of production are ready to do a third season in this moment, it would depend of how well received is the new episodes between the fans, the critics and the animators. In this case, as pixiebell said, Matsubara only will take the supervision and the project would be alright.

Fourth: the ratings of AMG this year were not good bcause there were some elements against the series (the soccer world cup, the competence with Fate/Stay Night and the time of broadcasting), other element was the sense of the timeline of AMG, the love story and the script of the episodes (in some cases, very near to the manga or very bizarre to the manga). The team of production tried to fix this trouble with the episodes 21 and 22 but it was late to do it. The new team are proposing with the episodes 23 and 24 give an equilibria and new sense to the story.

Sometimes i feel like Keiichi-chan (very positive to not to do a third season) but i was looking the statistics of sales and i wonder that the series sells good with this low rating. That´s a reason to recreate the series into a third season, but now is a risk that the new team of production must to calculate to do it because they have fear to do it bad.

The decision is now on the mind of Matsubara, not Godha. TBS wants to air a third season but the team of production have doubts and Fujishima and the team of production of the series must talk to coordinate the activities towards the 20th Aniversary of AMG in this days.

They take into account those of us who wait for the subs or translations for their account of sales? Or are the more like the US marketeers who look at what is sold in country and then expect revenues after that count. While we live a global market and different things take off in different areas, still it seems most are more concerned with the more immediate impact and serving to the local market. I really hope to see AMS III, I'd love to be able to follow the story longer. And for that matter I think they have an opportunity to evolve the story line beyond the first Kiss... and even a marriage if that were to come. I can see all kinds of scenarios, and perhaps a spin off on small goddesses involving... dare we say, children of them. So many roads to explore and places to take the story. It would be a sad thing to see them sell it short.

wow that take a lot of time to air the episode 23 and 24... im pretty sure they already have the season 3 going.. coz some people dont just air their anime stuff with 1 to 2 episode, they will air the anime with atleast 5 episodes.. (thats what i think lol)
