Which one would you rather have english voice over dubbed or Japanese with subs? I personally would like to focus on the show rather then read and miss stuff.

Well I have only been watching the show for about two months now and I haven't even heard the English voice yet. You know anywhere I could hear them. I agree with you too I would much rather just watch the show the worry about reading the subs fast enough so I can look up and see whats going on. but thats not really a problem with me so I probably could live with both.

well if I had to choose I guess the Japanese but only becuase there the only voice I have heard and I think a sudden change might mess with my head. But if I had a choice between the two from the start I would pick English just so I don't have to read.

There are english dubs on the series DVDs, which are all available now. I prefer the Japanese version.

The fandubs are just that: clips where fans put their own voices into the scenes. You can get the DVDs at amazon.com and Best Buy, or you can rent them through Netflix. Let's hope the Eilleen Stevens (the english voice for Belldandy right now) is a better singer...

I'm not pinging on you. I thought almost all of the people in the fandub were pretty good actually, just not whoever voiced Belldandy. Kikoku Inoue is just a hard act to compete with.

I already have all the English DVD's of Ah! My Goddess and they sound great, but somehow I prefer the Japanese Language Version! The thing is that I first watched it on Japanese and now watching it in the English Version sounds Kind of Funny! Right Now I'm looking for a Software that is capable of ripping DVD audio, if you know about a free one, let me know! Oh, Before I forget, I Love Belldandy's singing in English, It sounds different, but I love it!
