I think the movie can easily fit into many parts of the manga/ova/tv series. It's just a matter of thinking outside the box!

I agree that it fits in well, the movie did an exellent job establishing itself it the universe and when you watch it it just sinks up in your mind so...

anime movies are really good in the way it the movie can be watched indepentently from the main series! of course to truly appreciate it one is better to be well read in the anime series.

Well, thinking more about it, K1 and Belldandy's relationship is pretty far along in the movie (Urd calls them lovers, and Keiichi doesn't even pass out or sweatdrop). If it will fit into the TV series, it will be a long time coming.

By the way, Keiichi-K1... have to provide a little correction. There are actually two interchangable terms OVA (Original Video Animation) and OAV (Original Animation Video). "Version" and "Anime" are not part of what it stands for... :)

Hmm... could be... but I've been seeing it translated as "Original Video Animation" since the early 90s at cons and on websites...

i like to think that we get along just fine! thing is if there is no ocean between us and we happen to bump into each other we most likely be discussing and debating about stuff like this for days! LOL ^^
