Pubs are pretty wicked. ^-^ I would like to live in Ireland or somewhere on the Brittish island too, or else New-Sealand. I think I could live basically anywhere, besides maybe North-Africa because that culture kind of rubs the wrong way with me. I would like to live in an English speaking country, though.

i'd like to live near or in the temperate rainforest of Oregon, Wasington, and Brisish Columbia. I have seen most of North America, and many beautifull places, but between the giant trees, the mild climate, and the occasional big city, there would be darn close to my heaven.

I would really like to live in Florida. I love the climate, and, if I get into FIT (Florida Tech), I will be able to have a LOT of job opportunities for engineering. Plus it is away from my family. Even though it's sort of mean, I really dislike New York and if I went to college here then I would be nagged to hell. Besides, who doesn't want a bit of freedom with paradise?

lol, no offense, but right now I'd like to be anywhere BUT Florida! But, I've lived here my whole life, so I'm kind of sick of it. The climate is wonderful, I have to admit, but the traffic is terrible, and the public transportation system is worse. It's very busy here, but if you're from New York it should be a breeze for you. What REALLY has me wanting to leave, though, is the FOUR HURRICANES we got last summer, and the subsequent weeks without power. Talk about total chaos! :P

I'm more of a suburbia gal, myself. I don't want to live in the *middle* of nowhere, but somewhere on the edge of it would be nice. :) I've often thought about living in Ireland, but there aren't exactly the best job opportunities there for an illustrator.

Ireland sounds wonderful. Haven't been there myself, but a few aquantances said that it's a very nice place. Of course... they've wreaked havok upon a museum they were working at... Honestly, I have no clue if there are limits to human stupidity...

As for the hurricanes, I LOVE chaos. It's just so normal here and boring. Sort of makes you want to do anything just from being bored... And I honestly didn't think traffic would be that bad. Is it really horrible around Melbourne?

Actually, it's not so bad around Melbourne... only on I-95, cuz the exit for Disney World is pretty close to it. It's Palm Beach County and south from there where it starts getting really bad... and you couldn't PAY me to drive in Miami. :P FIT's really nice, though. They host FITcon every year at the end of March/beginning of April. Small anime con, but a ridiculous amount of fun; I went last year.

And I know what you mean, about liking chaos cuz at least you're not bored... but it wasn't the fun kind of chaos. It was the no A/C for a week in 90 degree weather, sleep in the backyard cuz the house is too damn hot, no traffic signals at any major intersections, no gas because the pumps aren't working, roof leaking because your shingles blew off, house smelling cuz the stuff in your fridge all went bad, getting your power back to have it knocked out the next week by ANOTHER hurricane kind of chaos. :P I know I didn't have much fun, but to each his own. :heh:

!! Nice, I'm going there at the beginning of April. Maybe I can check it out after FIT. Thanks for the info. :bg:

I wanted to know about traffic because I want to get a motorcycle for my college days. You know, something economic, small, quick on the go. Been debating which BMW to get. Very tough choice.

Wow. That must have been tough. I probably would have lost it (and being me, enjoyed going insane). But the worst is over, right?
