After I figured out that these kind of cartoons were anime/manga, I just basically watched everything I could get my hands on. I still do, really. I can't say that there is an anime or manga that I don't like, just because I think every different anime has something special to it. Pokemon is rather predictable, but I still laugh when I watch it. Meh.

I'd have to say either Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon or Yuugi-ou got me hooked.

Most likely pokemon or salior moon.
But now i like nearly every anime.

i use to watch sailor moon...but i never really thought of that as anime... but i adored escaflowne... cardcaptor sakura was great but i didn't consider that really anime either... i would have to say escaflowne and outlaw star...

My first animes was Speed Racer & then Voltron.But I didnt really get hooked on anime until Sci Fi channel showed anime movies back in 90 or 91.In the 80's I was head strong about being an American & only like watching American cartoons.

Thats ok jimmy.I'm from the great mid-west state of Ill.Where I'm from we are called river rats cuz we live(did live) along the Ill river.Once a river rat always a river rat lol.Swimming in the river YEAH it's fun.

anyways, the first anime that i watched was Dragonball chinese version when i was 4 or something....

heck i didn't even understand it!

it wasn't until i started watching Salior Moon (chinese version) that i started getting hooked onto anime.

Sailor Moon made such a history into our minds ^_^
