Bell doesn't want to kill but she cooks living things such as fishes, vegetables, and bacterium. How can she cook fishes, vegetables, and bacterium yet doesn't want to kill? Explanation please.
Seems like a very easy situation though. In Earth...it has been a verry very very very normal situation to eat to sustain life. But secondly...Bell cooks...not kills...it's a very different thing. Because first of all...when she and Keiichi buy the items from the market...no doubt that they'd already be dead/frozen/prepared to be cooked or heated.

As you would see in the series...Bell's kindness even extends to animals...like the way she can peculiarly communicate with them. But it seems ridiculous to even express emotional despair on animals that were destined to be cooked right?

Well another point is that she wants tto keep Keiichi happy, so that it would prevent her heart from breaking. Food makes people happy...and Keiichi is a human. So therefore, food makes Keiichi satisfied. Therefore when Belldandy knowns about this, she cooks food...thus making Keiichi happy.

Anyway, vegetables are living things...because they breathe...their difference is only that they couldn't move to one place to another.

Well you're assuming that they were destined to be cooked, when in fact it was human decision that results in them ending up on the dinner plate, but regardless there is a very simple reason for why Belldandy cooks, because K1 needs food to survive, its his energy source.
yup...like what I said. "In Earth...it has been a very very very very normal situation to eat to sustain life."

I remember we did something like this in Philosophy... It gave me a headache... :( Besides, I think she is only cooking things that are already dead, it is not like she is killing something that is alive or anything.

This is a complicated subject...lol. However, I believe it is situation and context sensitive. Belldandy only refuses to cause harm to anything living, so I take it that when she's cooking something that's already dead, the soul of the animal has already been freed. it's complicated, but that's what I think

And for the case of the bacterium, I believe it's also about the sentient beings. I mean their levels of evolution are not high enough to feel the suffering.
