First, I have been fairly impressed with the anime in keeping with the Manga thus far. Yes they have mixed things up, but the individual stories themselves are intact.

Second, I have yet to spot Welsper either, but I read on another blog elsewhere that he is there. I suppose they probably mistook Sentaro or something.

Third, looking at the list of chapters I can spot about 8-10 episodes that they will probably make before the Welsper arc comes up in the manga. If the Peorth arc ends on episode 10 of this season, that leaves them at episode 18-20 for four or five episodes in which to cover Welsper and Hild. It seems difficult to have both, but I can't imagine the premise of the Hild arc without having Welsper first.

Fourth, I tend to overthink these things. Probably best to just say, "we'll see".

Well arent the manga and the anime exactly the same? LOL because

The "arc" refers to a specific storyline within the manga. Personally, I think Welsper will have to make an appearance in order to fully flesh out the Hild storyline, but they may end up chopping up the timeline in order to make it work without him.

i hope that they'll show all characters in the tv series....

As far as the first episode of the second season goes, Warchico, it is the most manga-independent episode in the series. That being said, it does have a couple of scenes right out of chapter 11: Let's Cover this World in Flowers.
