Being that Bell and her sisters are megami, they ARE immortals Urd- chan. And as far as getting ugly as they get older, just look at Hild ..... Urd's mom. She don't look bad at all in my opinion.

There's a pic of Hild in the Chronicles, Peng-kun. And the general idea about immortal beings is that, either they are born ugly, or they are born beautiful like Faeries and they stay beautiful throughout the ages, never aging one bit and never dying. They can not even be killed, that's of course the whole point of being immortal.

Unless you hapen to be a Norse god Rei, they're pretty much all fated to be killed. Ageless, yet not truly immortal, and even thier agelessnes was the result of magical apples, mmmm apples.....

I know, I know. Just like the greek gods and their Ambrosia. Or the Faeries with the food that, once you eat it, you can never leave the Faery world again.
But from other stuff I read, immortal beings truely are immortal. I think it's pretty funny, but actually kind of understandable. Has anyone ever watched 'The last Unicorn'? I think it's one of Hayao Miyazaki's movies (the guy from Spirited away and stuff?) and of course it's about the last Unicorn on earth.
Well anyway, instead of killing them or something, which I think he can't (and just doesn't want to), King Haggard sends the Red Bull (so creepy) after the Unicorns and drives them into the sea, where they are turned in the foam riding on top of the waves and in narwals.
So that kinda gave me the idea of 'immortal' beings actually being immortal.

I think that immortal beings can be killed immortality refers to there ageless nature rather than being invincible.

Whoo...I feel flattered. People think I'm smart. Yay Nayru-san and Urd-san!

But actually, I think being immortal would be so very painful.
