It is a shame that most voice actresses in America do not sing more in connection with the anime. In Japan, the main theme song is almost always sung by one of the main (or important supporting) characters. Sadly, this seems to be changing in Japan too (Full Metal Alchemist, D.N. Angel).

At least we will always be able to bring up the OVA and hear Juliet sing the egg song :)

Never heard of B. Hoffman. But I am a HUGE fan of Kikuko Inoue. As far as being the oldest here, I believe I am. But remember, I was 22 when I first saw AMG!, and have been a fan ever since. It just happens that it took 12 years for them to finally make it into a series. So I'm a "seasoned" fan vs. being "ancient". Although yes, the mileage on my body is taking it's toll. Anime is ART. It's entertainment, and can be enjoyed at any age.

Bridget Hoffman was the voice actress who did Belldandy's voice in the English dub of the AMG Movie.

Ehehehe, see what I mean KeiichiK1?
No one knows my fav English seiyuu.
Oh yeah, and let's not forget she also voiced for Bell in the Adventures of the Mini-Goddess as well. ^_^

My favorite Bridget Hoffman role: Mizuho!!

Well overall, I really prefer Inoue Kikuko. Kikuko and Bridget have quite a few shared roles, but I like Inoue Kikuko a lot.
But Bridget is still great!!!

Pocky for everyone!!! :)

I'm very familiar with Bridget Hoffman (she's also worked under other names, like most voice actors). I'm sure you know all of this Kei, but for those who don't here's some info.

Among other roles, she has played:
Princess Futora in El Hazard
Rem Saverem in Trigun
Lain Iwakura in Serial Experiment Lain
Cherry in Saber Marrionette
Megumi Otsuka in Nightwalker: Midnight Detective
Kei in Hand Maid May
Mahoro in Mahoromatic (she was also the Chinese saleswoman who sold Mahoro the "Girl type Ranma" dress)
Chitose Hibiya in Chobits
Cole in Wolf's Rain.

She also played a swordfighter in "Army of Darkness" with Bruce Campbell (live action).

For those who are interested, I'm pretty sure her real name is Ruby Marlowe. In addition to being credited as Bridget Hoffman, she sometimes goes by Ellen Arden, Jane Arden, Tessa Ariel, Serena Kolb, Ellen Wilkinson, and Karen Woods. She also sometimes has them spell it Bridgette Hoffman (with an extra "te").

LOL yup I do know. Nice stuff there Larry. :)

Let's not forget she also voiced for Ellen Shryer in Black Jack the Movie, Kirigoe Mima in Perfect Blue (oh boy, that film is fantastic!), and also my favorite Love Hina character Maehara Shinobu!
Larry, I'm sure you knew those too... sumisasen! >.<

She also voiced for Ohara, a minor role in Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran. *clap clap*... *bow*

Lol yeah her multiple aliases. Yeah definitely one of the people with the most names. Hehehee she changed it so many times.
I remember when she did Love Hina, she was Ellen, and then when she did Perfect Blue and Ah! My Goddess she was Ruby.

And now... Bridget!!! :) :)

"The soundtrack from the movie is spectacular. It's amazing! Excellent orchestral music so well defined and fitted into this masterpiece of a movie."

The same guy who did the Final Fantasy series' music made the OMG Movie's music. Utemesu! (that's how you spell it, right?)
