You will respect my old foogie-ness! I'd already graduated college 9 years ago... As far as I know, I'm the oldest person on the site. Can anybody beat 30???

you're only as old as you are in your heart! :)

actually KeiichiK1 i think Lionfish is of a similar age to you, but i dont know the specifics but i do know he's older than me and Jimmytheshank is another one i think.
Age doesnt matter here anyway, we're all friends and we all love Ah! My Goddess! :bg:

yeah, nothing (will) beat the good ol' times of your childhood. especially when it has AMG and other animés in it.

and if you think about getting old, think of how old the artists and storywriters are! i mean, look at Miazaki, he's 60+ years old!

Heh... it didn't even exist when I was in my teens. Actually, I think it started my first year in college, so I would have been 17 or so, but it wasn't released in America until much later.

I think age does influence your interpretation of AMG... to get this back on topic, I'll use the movie as an example. I have friends who are much younger than I am, and they hate Morgan with a passion because they just see her as a manipulative... wench...

I can sympathise with Morgan though, I know what it is like to have your hopes betrayed and lose someone forever. Besides, even though her actions would have been harmful to K1 and Bell, they were, at least in her mind, for the greater good.

i agree, age does affect the way u see things. a rather young viewer would only see the black and white side, whereas a more mature person would see the messages and understand the characters more.

Back to that question of whom is the oldest in this site. I think it's Jimmytheshank. He's 36.

Hehehe, if you wanna talk about who's the oldest in anime forums, I've some friends who are above 40. They're good buddies :)
Though I'd like to have one friend who knows a lot about my favorite seiyuus. So far I've only friends who are either fans of just the Japanese and little about the English, or fans that only like the English and little if any of the Japanese.

Is there even one person in a forum who likes Inoue Kikuko and Bridget Hoffman as much as I do?

Oh yeah and back to the main subject. Yay Nayru! Good good! Ah! My Goddess the Movie is top notch, my favorite anime movie of all time, with Tenchi Muyo! In Love coming 2nd.

The soundtrack from the movie is spectacular. It's amazing! Excellent orchestral music so well defined and fitted into this masterpiece of a movie.

Kei-kun rates Five Stars * * * * *

I'd like to hear the English seiyuu sing. Lol even though they're no match for the Japanese, they should release an individual CD dedicated to the English dub fans.

Bridget Hoffman sings pretty nice anyway. I want to hear the full Nostalgia song from her. ^_^
