So, who is your favorite manga artist, and why? (I'm talking from a graphical point of view, not writing).

My favorite manga artist is Kohta Hirano, artist of Hellsing. Some of his writing (and former work) is questionable, but each and every panel of each volume of Hellsing is drawn in painstaking detail, down to the seams on clothing! And the inking is phenomenal, bold and dark to make a striking impact.

hmm well there are to mani hmmm let me think ehhh i don't kno but i kno i like drawin mi self hmmm well i don't realli kno this man or woman's name well but it's the maker of these few shows (well you kno there is more) the maker of gost in shell (please don't laugh at me for not remembering these names) and hmmmm and of wedding peach or wedding momo i like there art because it expresses feelings in awai but there is one artist i kno lion to me i love his drawings soo he would be a artist to me

oh i would defenetly say my favorite artists are the Clamp girls... ^^ the design is really good, weather in character, clothes, or other design... ^^ i also love AMG design too (of course).

The artist of Ghost in the Shell is Masamune Shiro, but I don't know about Wedding Peach... And you're right, Morphee, the girls of CLAMP are amazing! When it comes to all things pretty and gothic, they are the masters. ^_^

hmmmmm Favorite graphic artists? thats a tough question. i've been reading ImaDoki by Yuu Watase and thats great, but it wouldn't do to discount Chiho Saito and Be Papas and the authoress of Kare, First love, Kaho Miyasaka has a good style too.... oh... i can't choose

i like arina tanemura (kamikaze kaitou jeanne, fullmoon o sageshite)
i never get what she want to tell (too confusing) but her drawings are very nice...
shirow does some neat stuff, but somehow all he draws looks the same...(same with arina...nice anyway)

Oooo, Tanemura is great, I loved KKJ! I could never remember the artists' name, though. ^_^; She has a gorgeous shojo style, and her layouts are beautiful.

to me this is a really tough question since i dont really know the who the actual artists are of my fav mangas. Anyway i havent read that much yet but i really like the Ah! My Goddess ones (its my fav of course) the You're Under Arrest ones and the Love Hina ones.
