oh dear! that means we have to buy more books to get the whole story and that means having to spend more money! having more books for the same amount of story would make managing and upkeep of them harder.
on the good side i think it could mean that the english translations would be released quicker because they dont have to wait for a bulk of the Japanese manga to be finished before they can bring the english version out.

Oh, and I just noticed this question from Chonrad earlier... yes, most libraries have manga now! However, it's in the non-fiction section. (crazy, no?) It's under the number 740something... I haven't done reference in a while. ^_^; It's the same section as graphic novels and animation books. It's sort of hit-and-miss as to what volumes they'll have, though, since most of the people ordering the books are pretty clueless about what they're actually ordering.

i dont go for library books, theyre usually rented out into such a state, people dirty the covers and ruin the pages!

any news if they're going to be cheaper? a lot of mangas are about $10 but the OMG were always more expensive (probally cause they're bigger). I wouldn't pay 15 - 20 dollars for a manga.

it doesnt matter if theyre gonna be cheaper, thing is you gonna have to buy more books to get the same amount of story, which in the overall picture you end up paying more money, these companies sure know how to milk it!
