Just wanted to know if anyone here ever used Linux, and if so, which distro? I myself prefer Debian, Slackware and Fedora Core.

Funny you should mention that. I just switched from Windows to Ubuntu. I am fairly pleased with it so far. Not very difficult to use at all.

Yes, Ubuntu does attract many people to switch. The Linux system itself has developed a lot during the last 2-3 years, which is why more and more people are using it. I've been working with it for like... 3 years.
