I was touring the official website yesterday, and happily noted that Peorth was going to be in episode 7 of this season. When I went to her character page on the website, though they had a picture of her wearing a red dress instead of her usual costume. Although she looks undeniably cute in it, I still thought it was quite a break with the manga version of Peorth. Here's a link if you'd like to check it out:

I decided to start a thread to start some speculation on what other changes from the manga tbs might make to AMG.

I think that in this eps arn´t going to have big changes, I can´t wait next wekk to see this ep!!!!!!!

that red dress is probably the dress she wears when she goes on a "date" with K1(and the 3 goddesses too :P)

Wow, good eye, Legolas. Sure enough, chapter 70 of the manga. Almost the exact dress. I hope they don't jump to that story in this episode. They really should take 3 or 4 full episodes to fully cover the fourth goddess arc.

More changes...lets see... they already shuffled the manga chapters to make season 1...so season 2... I expect more re-shuffling of events... example is like episode 6(sorezorenohane) Troubadour(Dark Horse Spelling)should appear first before Shiho Sakakibara(The Ghostsweeper(she thought she was)).

So... Hm... Oh yeah, Skuld already got her angel egg before meeting Sentarou...

So... Think Hild is gonna show up before chihiro...
Welsper the cat is gonna show up from the middle of nowhere
The tenshiku and Lind will decend before the race with Hild...
Then they will introduce String Fellow First before he is actually used by Bell to send K-1
to his first job interview.

The Welsper issue definitely has me perplexed. It's odd that they didn't include him in the opening and yet they did include Hild. I wouldn't expect to see Welsper this season except that I can't imagine the Hild arc without him. (him, her, whatever) .

I doubt though that he will be introduced as a cat, though. Establishing the doublet system seems too important. Also, I can't imagine how they would explain a talking demon cat without actually seeing him as the evil child first.

As for continuity of the series with the manga, they have pretty well covered the manga up to around chapter 50; they just skip all over the place. Of the ones they skipped over, I expect to see:

The Date with Belldandy at the Hotel
"Life is Just a Game of Sugoroku Roulette" (one of Urd's best moments)
The Forgotten Promise
The Ninja Masters Arc (leftover from the season 1 intro)

I think Hild will be the season finale, also.
