you mean like this:

lion: "gee thanks, you only just noticed that now?"

people say it to me, uh........sometimes...., i don't say it to others much.

Well, usually you know, that's just joking around.
For example...

A friend: "Not an A!MG fan?? Are you nuts?"
Me: "Well, you are fully aware of the fact that I am indeed a nutcase, so that answers that question."

Although that really is the other way around...Um...

well one day my parents invited some friends at home and they were talking about some other guy they knew who had known another friend:
friend: "yes he did know Edith"
my dad: "oh so that was when he knew women! lol"
friend: ".... how did you know he was homosectual?"

one thing that you must never say when a person askes to talk to you in private....
"Well! As long as you don't ask to go out with me it ok! Go ahead!"
if that's what the person wanted to say you are in a really uncomforatable situation...

i have one of the best things to say if a convo suddenly turns awkwered...

"this is awkwered"

it turns the convo into a joke. but i've never actually tried it...

lol! i'll try it some time! ^^ if i get the oportunity to do it however...

I've used the 'this is akward' line and it does work 98% of the time ^-^ however the worst is when it kinda backfires so everyone disincludes you in the conversation X.x I hate that!
