Ohhhhkkkaaayyy.......:bg:

Sims 2, Need for Speed Underground 2.....as you can see, these are some of the laest games today....and it needs the latest components to play....and that's DirectX 9.0c.:bg:

Now, i need help...i tried to install the latest directx and the result is nothing. the installation is lightning fast and after installation, i tried to check if the latest version is installed and voila...it is written in DirectX 9.0b.

Now if some of you already installed the latest DX, then please tell me exactly what did you do to install that thing. thanks. :bg:

well you must have a older pc cas i got my windows xp disk a bit ago like 5 months ago and it is 9.0c. microsoft has a thing to tell you how to completely and correctly install stuff like that.
also, some windows updates/ service packs come with a newer dirext x so also see if you can update.
PS: sometimes it helps to reset your pc for some stuff to work .

i played at the SIMS a little a few years ago... but it fed me up after a while so i made them all die... (there are several ways of doing that)

Yeah...I used to make this little shed or something and either let them be stuck in their without anything for three days, then they'd starve of hunger. Or I made them swim and removed the ladder so they couldn't get out, then they'd drown. And you can of course always let them get caught in a fire and burn.
I kinda liked the original Sims a lot, but I don't have them on my computer anymore. I loved 'Makin' Magic', for obvious reasons.

Apparently Reiyuka occasionally dabbles in the dark side:wow: ..... how evil of her.

but back to DX9.... have you tried uninstalling directx? likley some of your computers registry entries have been messed with, if an uninstall dosen't help, you may want to consider formatting your HDD.
