Topics Ah! My Goddess Who are they...?

It is strange to ask such a question now...but who are people living in the heaven at 'Ah! My Goddess'?
I often think about this, because people in the heaven that comes out in this series receive a far impression with the god and goddess that I had recognized up to now.

When we search for their world and life, we can understand that they have the latest higher technology, ability, intelligence, vision than human.
I think if this series is classified into SF, it is thought they are "Superman kind"...

What do you think about this?

hehehe anything can happen in an anime since it is just an invention, but for as for your question dicovery, creatures in the heaven are so many...many.many to mention (since we have no idea how does the whole heaven looks like)...but some of which is we are familiar are the Angels, and also gods, but i don't heard anything about goddesses mentioned in the bible...

You're right keiichiroy.
It is certain that the heaven is only what man imagined it, but it is different for each person.
Human's imagination is infinity, and I think it will not change forever...

By the way, I'm interested in the technology that appears in heaven world of 'AMG'.
For example, a special interface (It looks like Harp...) is necessary to manage the huge 'Yggdrasil' system for goddess who lives in the world of ten dimensions.
(I think that this idea is the original idea of producer, who think that "The harp is suitable to the goddess"...)
However, I think that this interface is convenient for the processing of the data base...

Yea...I think so too.

Transparent display, special interface...and building associate "SF" to me.
But the viewpoint of the heaven is not only such the high technology, but also including a mysterious element to associate pantheon.

i am guessing heaven would suite the tastes of the people within it. if a person happens to love flowers then heaven would obviously have tons of them, i guess yggdrassil would be a good example of heaven for a computer person. i wonder what heaven holds for any womanizers that happen to make it past the gates

I think it was a good concept that the creator came up with to design the heavens that way. I think that society as a whole accpets more unbelievable scenarios from sci fi or computer sci fi than anything esle. For humans, we view technology as the key to advancement. Thus, the writer can play around with the heaven layout and not have to worry about adding too much detail and story to his work. Nice choice for Fujishima.

can't agree more and it really gives a cutting edge to the story using norse mythology with modern day technology - the whole story is imbued with such ideas ... 1st and foremost the idea behind the 3 magnificent Norns - Urd, Belldandy and Skuld ... Past, Present and Future!! ^_^

I agree it gives the serie something extra with the norse mythology. I am Norwegian so I know pretty much about from school, and it is impressing on how well the creator has researched. The have hit the nail on the head with calling the main operative system, since Yggdrasil was a gigantic tree which had roots over the hole world if I am not mistaken. I bet that one of the following season ending episodes will have Ragnarok or the apocalypse as main theme.

not only advanced technology.. but their system involves the control of earth, and also it seems not to have a system in "training" a first class goddess, although belldandy and peorth is in the same class, but they hardly got something in common
