Interested that RAL and Keiichi-K1 have the same kind of obsession as I had (I still do to a lesser extent).
If Belldandy was real I would choose her without a second thought and my life would become perfect.
In recent years I have come think more realistically. That ultimate wish of mine will not come true and I have accepted that. Therefore I try to look at her character as a symbol and role-model rather than brood over the idea of her being of real flesh and blood.

in reply to Nausiccas last thread, i would say it is both Belldandy's beauty and personality that makes me love her so. There are plenty of other anime girls out there that are just as beautiful, but because Belldandy has such a perfect personality she wins by a landslide.

Belldandy has an interesting beauty appeal, as Nausicca said, alot of people see the beached blond with plastic bodya s idea, whear as Belldandy combines wholesomeness with vitality and serenity. I thnk the fact that she remains in a constant mood rather then everuy changing moods to various degrees. I agree that her sweet personality amakes her seem prettier ^-^ But u have to admit, the cloths she wears are soo pretty! ^-^! I like her choices, she shows that you can be pretty without flaunting ^-^ and i think that is an mportant message

one of many reasons i love Belldandy is because she is a more traditional type of girl, she's a great cook and goood with housework and plus she is very down to earth and likes to live a quiet life, unlike all the other girls out there that are only concerned with partying, drinking and keeping up with fads.

Would you still like Belldandy if she were more active when it came to partying, or becomming a little more vein by wearing make up and popular clthing, or if she were to be a horrible cook and get take out all the time. What if she was a little different in that sense? Would you sitll love her?

hmmmm you have good question there....I dont think I've ever thought of that...hmmmmm.....she might be different but!!!! if she still has the same personality..then it's ok!!!!!!!!..no matter what she looks like or cook,,,,,,,she could be the worst cook in the world and I would still like her as belldnady!!! lol!!!! (of course..she's not a bad cooker..I was just saying..)

i would still love her even if she does become a bad cook, but the part with the make-up and partying i just cant imagine with Belldandy. If she does use alot of make-up and party's all night long, then the personality is already different.

EWell when u think about it, she does go to a few parties with Keiichi and his friends and drinks alot (well then again shes not affected by alcohol so im not sure if htat counts) hwoever it makes me wonder what others thik about her since she does.,.

the type of partying im not keen on are those clubbing ones and going to parties of total strangers, i dont think i would fall for a girl that likes that sorta thing. Which is why i choose Belldandy! she's my type of girl! ^^

btw since alcohol doesnt affect Belldandy, then in my opinion the drinking doesnt count, it would be the same as drinking water for her. The thing that makes alcohol dangerous is that it affects your judgement and you can become drunk and rowdy, this doesnt apply to Belldandy. Besides Belldandy doesnt really like to drink, she just does so because everyone else is a having a good time and she wants to accomadate others, since the alcohol doesnt affect her theres no harm in doing so.

However she des get drunk on coke :D! So what happens if she likes her cola and despite her sweet eprsonality, has a weird fettish for..uhh...toenails o.O would u still like her?
