Bell-chan IS innocent, I think what you're asking is if she were childlike, like Chii was.
I think the majority of us would bear with that and...you know...follow through on the whole "special someone" thing.

Chii isn't all that childlike - she just doesn't know better. In a way she's more free then most of us when it comes to showing affection, since we all feel awkward at times when showing affection in public. Chii just goes right ahead.

But in any case, Belldandy... meh. She'd be a good persocom, always wanting to help and all that.

Trust your heart. If you love bell okay...but try not to love her more than life. Have a crush. Hey, I had a thing for tarzan that disney drew out (hehe--he had nice muscles). I used to like tom cruise, brad pitt and a skier named jonny mosely. But all of them went in the trash when I met my now husband. They were great for those lonely times--and all those guys who never worked out. I could always look at them and love them for their looks and who they were. But they never filled that deep void in me. It was always looking, always searching for the satisfaction of being with someone real.

That void wasn't filled until I met the man who would become my husband. Keep your options open okay?

Belldandy is a character. She is not real, and it is foolish to choose her over a real girl. Belldandy says it herself in chapter two of the manga:

"Poor fellow... it fells very much as if he's possessed by a demon! No matter how much he loves those two-dimensional dreams... they will never love him back. I see the screen... it's sucking up all his affections... his emotions. Sadly, there's nothing I can do. He can only be freed of his own will."

If you love Belldandy to the point where your interest in real women fades, you have become sick and need to seek help.

It's from chobits. Persocoms are computers that looks like people. In the story, people become so attached to their persocoms that they prefer them to a human companion.

well she's one ideal type of girl for those who prefer tha type as much as her sisters cos they're very idealised and perfected type of personalities ... you can fall in love with a fictional character (of course you can) and most probably that happens cos one identifies himself ao one of his desires with it!! but to choose her over a real girl that's when it goes out of control i guess ... still that would change if a person finds the right partner! ^_^

But still Bell is no computer and none of the goddesses or demons are ... they're different to humans cos they're 10 dimensional!!

It's amazing how these things affect us without even realizing it. I know that I am attracted to her because of her large heart and her traditional style. That is something you are hard pressed to find these days.
