anybody know or ever watch this anime? i love it its my favorite anime comedy of all time im a big fan of it
i have all 14 volumes of the manga ,the christmas and spring specials and all of the ova love hina again
unfortunately its so hard to find all the dvd's to the series i've only found so far just volumes 1&3

when keitaro urashima fails his entrance exams to get into tokyo university for the second time he's officially an unemployed and uneducated slacker to make things worse his parents have kcked him out of his house fortunately his grandmother owns the fabulous hinata house and keitaro is going to be the new caretaker what he doesn't know is the lodge is actually a girls dorm and he's the only guy around most guys would kill to live with five cute girls(i know i would without hesitation! lol) but if keitaro's not careful this job will kill him.

my favorite scenes have to be without a doubt where naru and the girls constantly beat him up for doing stuff he aint supposed to

i recall it as a good comedy atleast as i can remember but i can't say it is the best

A great series. I recently read the manga as well, and I actually enjoyed it even more than the anime. I particularly enjoyed the character of Mutsumi Otohime.

As for the anime, the episode in which they re-enact "Journey to the West" is my favourite. Absolutely hilarious.

very true i personally think the whole series is hilarious i mean those scenes where the girls beat up keitaro for being a pervert are so funny you know full well he dont mean it its an accident but the girls dont see it that way thus the end results in him getting the snot beat out of him even though he tries to explain his side of the story which the girls namely naru dont even give hima chance to do which has prolly got to be reason enough to make naru my fave character she pretty cool land funny and is always looking for a good reason the beat the crap outta keitaro which is usually never hard to find

sad that the boys who did love hina ran outta money to do more cuz i'd love to see it

This was a good anime when i first watched it but then when i read the manga i found that the anime looked quite bad, the manga seemed aimed at older readers and so it is much better than the anime =p

agreed the manga was better than what the anime was without a doubt but overall i loved both if i could find all the dvd's to the series i'd get em without hesitation sadly i've only seen volume 1 and volume 3 everywhere i go and like bdiah i too am just now starting to read it as i've just gotten all 14 volumes

as far as i cud remember, the anime and manga are both okay. Haven't really finished watching it though. But yeah, the manga was enjoyable

from what i know of it it was pretty popular cuz at the 2002 anime expo it won best manga now i know you gotta be the top dog in the game in order one of them babies for sure and i aint just whistlin dixie either my friend
