just like to ask how did your fandom of Ah! My Goddess start?
Mine started with the OVA but it really went into high gear when i started reading the manga.

My story is actually really sappy, much like AMG itself. :) When my bf and I first started dating (almost 5 years ago), he took to calling me his angel. We both are really into anime, so that Christmas he gave me the AMG OVAs, saying that he picked those to give me because I was *his* goddess. :) So I watched them, they were great, and the rest is history. And yes, my bf and I are *still* that mushy with each other. :sweat:

well i discovered AMG when i started uploading pics... like 5 years ago. i found then a Belldandy pic, of course i found it absolutely marvelous.. ^^ and so i got myself informed on the story and characters and since i've always liked eveything about magis etc i acked my parents to buy me the 1st volume while they did weeks groseries and voilà! i absolutely fell in love with the manga! ^^ 1st AMG volume was my very first manga volume.

well a friend gave my the first amg manga back in 2000 or so, but i first read it ~2 years ago (and with time a got hooked :P)

I got hooked on AMG! back in 1993 before it was released in the U.S. Actually it might have beeen in 1992. Anyway, it was fan-subbed and I immediately fell for the whole story. ( The fact that Kikuko Inoue was Belldandy's seiyuu did'nt hurt either ). Ever since then, I've been following the series. This new interest in AMG! and the new series, is for me, LONG OVERDUE. Heh, I'm already pre-ordering new AMG! stuff. ( As if my current collection was'nt already big enough). ^_^

Baka na.... Don't get yourself into trouble jimmy, sneaking in here during work. But maybe you go to the library eh? that'd be better for now, after all you'l need a job to support your Goddess addiction.

Well for my fandom, as i've stated in another thread, it started quite by accident. I wasn't even looking for anime, i was searching for some drawing site called "yoU aRe Drawing" or URD for short. She's quite seductive that one... tricky too.

actually...i got hooked on AMG because of a couple friends. last year...well one of my friends had bought the series, and she watched it...the next day she went full out google searches for it. me and my other friend were like O_o cause we had no idea what she was talking about. but she let me borrow the dvd, and i watched it, and i fell in love with it! ^^ so that is how i found out bout AMG

mine is just like in you guys, my fandom starts last year, when they played the OAV. Eventually, i have only watched the first episode and the 2nd one because it is raining hard and the signal in the channel becomes snowy. I even remember that i run through the rain and tried to adjust the antenna to have a good reception...

But what triggers me to become a fanatic is this: after the episodes, and i have only watched the 2 eps, and to find some info, i said to myself that i will try to find the videos and find some merchandises coz i like this. so that is the start of my fandom.

so whenever i have free time, i sit in my computer chair and start finding some information in the web, trying to find some traces on where to find the movies, merchandises, etc.

...and that's where it started. :bg:

I got hooked 2 yrs ago when i started 'officially' on anime. The AMG OVA was the 2nd DVD i bought( after Vandread the Second Stage). Found out about AMG when watching AXN.

myself i first got into A!MG through a leap of faith!
i found out about it online where i saw it on every anime website, so i just went and bought the whole OVA in one go. Watched the DVDs loved it and bang instant A!MG fan!

I found AMG! completely by accident. Two years ago I became hooked onto anime, so I was browsing the KAA site where I found The AMG! Volumes 1-27 available. After finding what it was about (story-wise) it took me a WEEK to finally come to terms and try out manga. Ever since then I've been hooked and can't get enough. My first manga ever read and my favorite. Good way to start.

:) The hardest part was getting the OAVs and movie. My mom has a dislike for anything manga/anime related (for some odd uncomprehensible reason)...
