well he was just a man who called all the animals of the world and created the Chinese zodiac with the 12 only animals that answered his call.

buddha believes that one should care for others and not worry about the little selfish and materialistic things in the world. It's more of a philosophy/way of life. It's about helping others before you help yourself.

the goal of many buddhist monks is to become 'enlightened' but that's a longish explination, maybe i'll post it later

what does ''enlightened'' reffer to? is it a power? we christians believes only what the bible says, even we know that the bible was written by men (b'coz if it was written by animals we can't read it right? ) we will gonna believe it coz the bible teaches a lot of good manners and right conduct, example is -----> '' Love thy enemy...'', ''Love your mother and father....'' and etc....

Buddhist "Enlightenment" as I have learned is achieving a full understanding of life, the world, and its interworkings. When one recieves enlightenment, he is no longer considered an individual being but as a part of reality as a whole.

That being said; I am agnostic personally. Though I like to think of Heaven as a figurative place. As a way to describe absolute perfection refering to a location. Plus I love angel artwork~

Enlightenment... where there are no desires in your heart.
A pure or clean state...
Everything around you flows like a clean river...
Basketball players call this, "In the Zone".

other thing I believe, is that anyone can achieve enlightment.
Being helpful, understanding and caring is a big step towards a better soul.

that's purity....cleansed heart and soul
