I was just wondering about peoples opinion about Celestin
I know there already is a previous thread about this,
I just want to refresh it and expand the thoguhts more

so just express your thoughts of
what, when, why, how you feel about Celestin

just thoguhts, comments or anything

I like Celestine and he lets us get a peek into Bell's childhood and I think he could make a good recouring character if he was introduced into the manga and/or anime. He could make a godd villian that makes Keiichi's life a little bit worse OR he coud make a cool guardian from a distance/in the shadows for Belldandy but doesnt hang out openly at the temple since Urd, Peorth, or Lind would try to bring him in. Either way he would be another male supernatural convict that had a hand in Belldandy's past that doesnt want her harmed or sad but at the same time dislikes K1.

I think Celestine could give more to the story if given a chance. Heck he could even be a reason for Lind to hang at the temple 24/7. He could escape from the lunar alcatraz and Lind is posted at the temple to try to catch him since he would likely head to Bell. Then keep up a pop in and out status with him comming when Hild does stuff and Celestine shows up to try to keep the feces from hitting the electric ocilator and then jets before Lind focuses on him.

stuff like that.

Who is celestin, from movie? I haven't seen OVA's and movie.

He didn't seem to me like he actually dislikes K1. He just used him to fulfill his intentions. And at the end he looked like he really wish them both to be happy.
And yea, Demix, Celestine was the "bad guy" in the movie, but than he somehow changed his attitude at the end.

I liked him, he looked cool at the start
but I'm just dicouraged of what he did to Belldandy

makes me sad & mad...

No, he was her mentor, and leaded her from her very childhood. But than, later, he started to act rebellious against the Almighty, thinking how is this world unfair, etc, etc, and even tried to persuade Bell to help him in his effort to change all that, and so he was arrested and sent to prison. Bells memory was erased after the incident.

He is not all that evil you know... He has his own thoughts and believe what he was doing is for the greater good. He seems to be a kind person to me and he did feel remorse at the end so yeah. I think you judge him too quickly. I'm a bit frustrated at what he did to Bell too but if you look at the whole story, he had no intention of hurting her (well, besides hurting her emotionally :P)

I dont think he ment to hurt her emotionally on purpose. He did the gate thing in the same thread of thought and teaching that people take when they take their students or children to the holocaust museum. As for the stuff from kissing her and infecting her to ripping out her programming code... I think it hurt him as much as it hurt her.

I mean that he hurt her emotionally because of his plans to make a new world. Well naturally this will hurt Belldandy emotionally because she loves this world so much. (Well... that is still not intentional... *bump*)

No he hurt her, and that makes him evil, he also tried to ruin her relationship with K1, which makes him even more evil IMO

It doesn't matter that it was nintentional, "the road to hell is paved with good intentions"
