The question is “How did you meet Belldandy ?”.
For me it was innocent enough, googling a (now defunkt) how to draw website called “yoU aRe Drawing” also known as U R Drawing or simply enough, URD. Yep, that sultry eyed vixen led me on a merry internet hunt for more images, introducing me to Belldandy and the rest of the cast, as well as resin figure kits, romantic anime and manga, and the limits of my wallet.

nice story....my story begins when my friend have a cd in his underarm...so i try to steal it...then he lets me to have the cd which have the title....''Oh! my goddess'' it's the first set of the OAV so then when i got home i show the anime to my GF and then b'coz of deep curiousity me and my GF, and my GF's sister, try to watch the anime...and poof we're laughin' and got in-love and got our interest of having that AMG anime series...i never give back that cd...but i lost it, but i buy the original box set of the OAV which is in stores...that's how i began to love AMG and other animes...

Interesting Life story.

Ok, let me share with you all how it all began.
Me and my friends are anime freaks. We all refuse to grow up. Some like SailorMoon. I stumble upon Bell the same i stumble my first love. My friend bought OMG OVA when he went to HK. We share the movie and was instanly in love with it. We tried our best to collect VCD episode that time and even tried hunting them over the net. Since that time AMG not that popular yet ,all effort was loss.
Faith came and I found AMG the DVD version back in 2002. Eversince then, i was hopping the anime will be out. My prayer was answer and i found this website. Thank you for creating HEAVEN.

Now, i have found the limited Gold Disc edition of AMG TV season 1. I will ask my friend to get it when he return to Japan again end of this year.

Watching AMG made me relieze that love is a wonderful thing. Pure emotion. I will cherish this feeling with My Goddess.
For those whom haven't watch and understand this anime. My advice, give it a try. You will LOVE it.

Me? I was at Best Buy looking for CD's and I saw the Ah! My Goddess movie soundtrack. I liked it, so I bought it. A couple months later I was looking on the web to find out more about this cd and I ordered the movie online. I watched it once and I was hooked. I absolutely loved it right from the beginning! I went to a Tiger's game right after it and I couldn't stop thinking about that wonderful movie! ^__^

yea thats about the same for me. except that my dad worked at a book store and i read a few of the manga.

Interesting question, strange I didn't see this earlier.
I met Belldandy when I used to frequently animewallpapers.com about 5 or 6 years ago. This was when I was just getting into anime and was searching around to see what looked decent. I have always been a fan of angel artwork so I thought it would be worth checking out.

How fortunate that one of my first animes turned out to be my favorite.

How I ran into Belldandy?

I found a fanart in a friend's room and got her name wrong. As I was getting into damsel-in-distress art and storytelling, I figured she'd be the perfect fancomic leading lady, and put her into a few stories without knowing who the hell she was. Usually, she'd get snatched by some random force of evil, and my equally random strike force would bust her out. I didn't even know there was a Keichii. The first time I looked into an AMG manga, I was blown away. I thought, "How the hell did I miss all THIS?!" Pushed by a need to know her more as I got better at drawing and threw her into more complex scenarios without the "Perils of Penelope Pitstop" feel, I finally learned all about Bell-chan and her world (and thank God the Almighty, her actual NAME) and eventually came to understand the entire story.

I actually have yet to buy a DVD, although I see fansubbed clips on the Internet, and have already stared at several Mini-Goddesses episodes. Funny!

After a long time of wandering and only staring at fansites such as this, but as I joined forum after forum to let myself be heard, I finally joined the fans here and sealed my love for Belldandy, AMG (the anime, not the Mercedes-Benz tuning group...actually, I'm big fans of both!), and all the rest of the cast!

Nowadays, AMG is a draw with another favorite anime of mine: Chobits. I've focused on writing fanfiction with a ridiculous air, and am still assembling all the parts. They are my faves because they involve the same things: pure love against all odds, devotion to the one you DO love, and never, EVER giving in to obstacles.

That's a good question. Let me see if I can remember...

I was looking for osme Tenchi Muyo! info to use on a very old (noew defunct) fanfic and I ended up by finding some AMG info. So, I started to look for more info and that's it.

I had just finished Full Metal Alchemist, and although I enjoyed it, I really wanted something more like the anime I had watched before it, Kareshi Kanojo no Jijo. I was looking around on someone's list of top anime, and the AMG OVA sounded good. It took me a day to finish.

Convienently, the new anime series had just started at the same time, so I began watching that. After the first season, I read the the manga, and thus it has become my favorite series.

I found out about Ah! My Goddess through the movie. We were watching it in anime club almost a year back, and the next day, a friend showed me the TV series on his pocket PC. That same evening, i started out to look for the soundtracks, got myself an anime-eden account and ever since, I've been an Ah! My Goddess fan.
