I watch that show on and off but I totally didn't pick that up. I wish we could see the uncut version, YuGiOh is actually a really descent anime, i read osme of the manga and I was very impressed by it ^-^

maybe it's just fan fic, but on some sites that i went to (looking for the dark magician girl pics) there seemed to be a lot of drawings of kaiba and serenity... which confused me greatly!

A lot of fans see Serenity's compassion as the thing to change Kaiba, I believe, Nausicaa-san. While I'm not a fan of Kaiba, I do see what the fanbase of this pairing is thinking.

I must admit that I like the fanfics and the games of this show better then the anime itself, but it's still a pretty decent show. I mean... you still have to come up with all of that! The cards, the history, the past, the Milennium items, Yami-Yugi,... Lot's of fantasy went into it, which is a reason to respect it.

who's serenity? I don't remember a serenity in yu gi oh. Or maybe it's one of those English dub names that I don't know about.

But anyways, I have never found anything romantically inclined in yu gi oh. So I was a bit surprised when I found this thread under the romance section, lol.

Dang... what on earth was her japanese name again? o.o Well, in any case, Serenity is Joey's little sister, the one who was needed surgery.

And I think it's under the romance section because Nausica-san inquires about the relationship between two characters... and also because it has such a huge fanbase when it comes to the pairings and stuff.

The manga is actually really good! It has much more romance in it and the characters are far more daring then the anime. For example Anzuu (cant remember her english name, shes the one who hangs otu with yugi and joey and she has short brown hair) A lot of fans like her for her big curves and slim body. In the anime she doesn't seem tootice her 'body' advantages but in the manga she does. She tried dressing skimpy for yugi hoping to tempt Yami to appear to her. Lol it was a hiliarious chapter!

Seems much more fun than the anime. Oh well.

What I don't like about the anime series is the art style.To pointy & squared for my likeings.But I'll admit the story line & the characters are nice.

it's nice to know that one of the series I have come to despise had respectable beginnings at least, maybe now I can stop having dreams of throttling the creator in his sleep next time my little bro plays the DVD ^-^.
I agree about the art style, straight line just doesn't cut it, but it's easy to use for mass production as it usually only involves simple colors and low detail.
(AMG: TV series is an example of a blend of straight and curve line animation [SL visible in facial structure] but is saved by a superior storyline... at least that's my opinion, and now I'm just rambling aren't I lol)
