Well on the 7th of July I took and successfully complete my CBT, it wasn’t that hard to do really but I thought I would tell you what happened at the end of the test were you have to go out on the road for two hours.
So here we go ...... MasterT's day out
After riding around some random lorry park going in circles for most of the day and then getting told some road rules, I donned the radio ear piece and started up the old CG 125 ready to cause havoc on the roads ^_^
After a while riding around some quiet roads I came to a nice big roundabout ¬_¬ ..... The instructor said that we would down some road; the directions I heard went straight through one ear and out the other.
So now I’m left slightly puzzled :S ..... after waiting a few seconds for the road to clear I went to set off ....... in second gear >.< ...... the bike then said no, decided not to move and then stalled on me I gave the kick start and good .... Well ... kick =/ then went on with my travels, since I didn’t know which road to go down I decided just to pick one =p .
I had a feeling that I was going the wrong way, so I did a quick U-turn which was a bit too quick but I stayed on that was the main thing. ^^
I now waited at the roundabout at the side of the road to wait for the instructor to rescue me =D ...... 5 mins later he found me so I set off to follow him, but oh noes I stalled it again >.< But this time the bike decided to roll into the middle of the roundabout 0.o
I quickly tried to start up the thing thinking that some chav in his crappy pimped up Clio is going to fly round this roundabout and take me out ...... not in a nice way ¬_¬ Managed to get it started ...... when I remembered to pull the clutch in. =/
Again I was on my travels forgetting about the roundabout incident and being more concerned about forgetting to cancel my indictors. ¬_¬
after some more riding around I went passed a PowerStation cant remember which one it is but meh ....... on this straight bit of road I noticed some bad repairs on the surface which left large bumps in the centre of my lane, travelling 60 over these bumps was quite satisfying as my arse and feet left the bike and became airborne. =D
Unfortunately my nads couldn’t take any more after deliberately riding over all the bumps I could find on that stretch of road so I decided to avoid them ^^ ...... balls + metal tank + bumpy road = pain ><
A couple of sharp comers then came which I took a little too fast but I managed to stay on the correct side of the road =p ...... just.
I also seem to go a bit too close to the opposite side of the road going around right hand turns, this ends up with my head being the wrong lane , I managed to tuck it in though before it got knocked off by a passing bus ^^
a few near misses later which involved two kids walking out into the road and two chavs on their trails bike riding by with no helmets on, I then got to some traffic lights in Pontefract which didn’t stay green for long =/ ....... and again I set off in second gear and stalled the bike 0.o
I pushed myself to the side of the road to hopefully stop car drivers from getting too mad at me =] ...... now I needed to get back in the lane through these nasty lights, with lots of queuing cars =/ ....... looked around and saw a gap which was just about the length of the bike so I thought right I’m going if that guy likes it or not, so lots of throttle and a quick release of the clutch and I’m off leaving the cars for dead =p ..... This 125 don’t half shift for 11 bhp =D
Two hours seemed to fly by and I was finally back at the test centre ..... Or in other words a van in some empty lorry park. =p
I came to a halt then spent 5 mins trying to get the thing into neutral and on to its stand ¬_¬ the instructor did seem to give a rats arse about what I did and gladly signed my CBT form so now I can ride on the road on some little 125 with looser plates on =D yay ^_^
Just need a bike now =/
