you know what everyone? it seems like that when i watch an anime, i learn something about human beings, or life, or some other thing, don't you guys think so, for example in full metal alchemist which i just kinda finished, i learn that we are all in a continuing cycle, and if we die that cycle won't change, we are merely tiny creatures inhabiting earth. also in naruto it teaches us to be strong and to protect the people that are most improtant in our lives and not to give up. i mean these themes are really good. to me it kinda teaches kids or whoever is watching a moral value.

even though some people might think that cartoons are for children and we will eventually grow out of it, but i think that if everyone were to take a chance to really watch it, they would get a message from it, because in anime they repeat the theme of the story varies times.

sorry, about my blabbling...just wanted to share that's all. i bet most of you know that already...

Yeah, you are so right. It's a good thing you brought that up Syllia. Almost everyone I know feels that way, we all feel and learn something from what we watch maybe that's why we still watch anime even after we're 16 17 or maybe even 35! I also learn things from anime too......................

Definitely even 35. There's something to learn everywhere, even in places other people may consider silly or not worthwhile. I've found that the key is to accept that I really don't know that much, there's always something new to learn. Paying attention and being open to new/odd ideas also helps, learning can be quite awkward at times.

So I guess at 36 that it's all downhill from there and I might as well be dead huh? ^_^ Yeah, I've noticed that some animes have a moral of some kind. And it's true, your never too young or too old to learn. Although, since learning seems to peak at 35 according to this thread, I must be but a hairbreadth away from death. (Might as well get in my coffin now I suppose). ^_^

Yeah I know, I just get a kick out of the fact that 35 was chosen as THE final reference point. Kinda makes me want to go find a spot to decompose somewhere now that it's all over. You know it's funny, when I first became an EMT, I was the youngest in the city to be so at that time. I was 18. Now, at 36, the guy's on my engine co. call me "PAPPY". Ah well. (singing) ("Knock, knock, knocking on heaven's door"). (^_^)

"DEPENDS" is the name of the diaper, and yeah, I get that a lot too. I can't say that I've had too many of the fairer sex whistle at me lately, although at one time that was the case. Now, I have had some stares sometimes, especially when we go to the schools for Fire Prevention Week. And I did get a couple of women asking me out, but since I'm getting older, many women seem to think I'm already married for some reason, and I also have the build of a fireplug and not the buff body of a Chippendale dancer, although I do work out on shift and I'm not exactly out of shape and I still have my hair. Whistles don't happen very often now. Still, I do manage to draw a few stares and smiles, and I don't have women running away from me screaming in terror for their lives, so that's a plus.:)
