Anyone else agree that Berzerk is a very sad series? The last episode made me cry... T.T But I love the character development and how it wasn't as boring as other medieval-type anime out there. ^.^ Yay for Berzerk, but... :sniff: I just wish it could have ended better...

For all you Berserk fans, I stumbled across my younger brother playing a video game called "SWORD OF THE BERSERK" After further research, come to find out that the company that made the OVA produced a video game that takes off where the OVA ended. In the game GUT's love interest CASCA survived the ordeal along with GUTS but, she was so traumatized that she can no longer speak. The game is basically GUTS and CASCA wandering around until looking for GRIFFITH until CASCA is kidnapped and GUTS has to find her. The graphics are very good. Not exactly a happy ending,for the OVA, but not as bleak either

OK, maybe we're not talking about the same "BERSERK". What is the plot of the story your talking about? The one I'm talking about is a pretty dark story.

:chuckle: I've never seen it, but according to the things I've read about it, you're right. It is pretty dark. Isn't it about some swordsman named Guts or Gatts or something who joins an army of bandits called the Band of the Hawk? I could be mistaken.

Yeah that's the one, anyway, the game is basically a sequel to the OVA.

I forget. The ending of that movie left me so disgusted I forgot about that particular part .

Ahah...I guess that's what pushes me -not- to watch it. I was already shuddering at Vampire Hunter D and Battle Angel Alita; I don't think my stomach can take much worse.

Yup. I mean, dseesh, I got freaked out over BladeII and I'm afraid of needles. I know, I know, I'm a wuss. :sheep:

I'm also weak against gore. Even bloody horror movies
