I don't want to intend to conflict with you asgard_lloyd, but you should throw away that program.
It must be a program that does specific software in the cracking.

Even if you want some high performance anti-virus, it is necessary to stop the act that becomes the evil of the enterprise.
(Read the software licence.)
This means it may be make losing of the motivation of people who is developing software.
And, it is same with other software too.

We introduced some free anti virus softwares(AVG Anti-virus, AVAST! Antivirus and McAfee) in this thread, so don't worry about your money.
You can check more detail about that software in those site.
(But even if they are free, you must observe the software licence and registration in web.)

I use McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.0i and I highly recommend it (it is stable, simple and powerfull).
It does its job and stays silent as a good av must do.

Some people say that Nod32 is good as well.

norton takes my attention because of this:
"Detects and removes dangerous spyware, keystroke loggers, and other unwanted monitoring software*. "

Mcaffe can do this also??????

Well, if the home edition uses that stupid eye-candy interface, just RUN from it.
I had big problems with that kind of thing.

I wouldent get norton as it slows your computer down and is a bugger to remove compleatly, i normaly get alot of my mates who have just bought computers teling me to help them get rid of it that program =p.

i havent realy use McAfee all i know is that it just crashed when i tried it =/ and screwed my pc up =p

Well, the enterprise version I use never did so. I remember norton fucking up my pc when I used its professional version. The ent version may not have that eye-candy look, but it IS powerfull and it IS recommendable. At least I used and never had any troubles with.
