Well, personally, I think Belldandy is pretty lucky herself. And the point is that Keiichi didn't wish for Belldandy to fall in love with him, he just wished that she'd want someone like her to stay with him forever. So I think you're right, Gokubussjr, she did fall for who he is. :)

Well, no, but she did like him a lot, obviously. I don't think it's just about the good times, though. It's so much more then that.

No Maddy-chan, she didn't love him at first, your'e right. He was, at the time, just another assignment. But like how most true loving relationships form, "love at first sight" is not always a reality. Rather, it takes time to get to know a person through the good and bad times to the point you KNOW that you want to be together with them forever.

Thanks guys for the compliments. I'm really flattered, but I'm not really all that smart. Or poetic. I HAVE had many opportunities to reflect on life. And love. Most of the things I have learned when it comes to human nature and relationships are from SOME of my life experiences but especially those of others that have shared their personal wisdom to me. Still when I attempt to say something especially concerning a serious subject , such as love, I try to make it a heartfelt thing.

And it shows, Jimmy-san, it really does. Such subjects should be handled honestly and lightheartedly. I really find it admirable that you haven't lost faith in love and that you encourage us not to lose it either. I really find it pleasant to see that it's still out there. In a way, I didn't think it was.

i think that belldandy saw keiichi for who he was inside and not just who he was outside...so her love for him is as pure as it can get^^
