tehee ^-^ I wonder though, here's an age old question. A man marries his first wie, and they are both deeply in love, but later dies og sickness. Some years later the man marries a second wife and they both live happly, and later die. But here's the question, if the man loved both his wives equally, which would be his soul mate? Im not a believer in having multiple soulmates, so what would happen in this situation? its been asked in the bible, till know, so is there an answer? well im not looking for a problem solving question actually, just opinion ^-^

I've thought of that myself, and what I say is that; if his first wife was his soulmate, he wouldn't have married someone else. I know from my great-grandmother. My great-grandmother lost her 'soulmate' when she was in her early twenties and she never remarried. I think that a soulmate is someone who can't be replaced, not ever, in any way. So if the first wife was a soulmate, he wouldn't have married the other one. Pretty lonely, but that's how I think about it.

I like ur input Rei, that makes alot of sense ^-^ I've have often thought of that way myself, but sadly through histroy people often married for economic reasons. By the way K1, don't worry about ur soul mate Im sure u will find her soon, ur still young so no worries ^-^

I haven't fallen in love. Besides I like my life the way it is now. I heard some people had to forget about their dreams in life because they got in a relationship. I'm sure not all are like that though.

Hopefully Tails you'll be able to find someone that can share in your dreams and accompany you in fulfilling them, never give up hope!

Well if soemeone is willing to give uyp their dreams to be with someone else, perhaps that means they found a newer and better dream with that person ^-^ Dreams can change just as fast as emotions ^-^

men are different, i guess we are weak and need the company of a good woman/girl. And since im a guy i think i have my "needs" too.

as a guy there are three different criteria we "jude" women for

1. The obvious phisicall atration, luckily women come in such a wide veriety
2. mind: if we can't communicate or have shared intrests than your doomed to failure
3. the other thing. hard to explaine this comes from somewere deep and without the relashonship is purely academic

Just to take this back to the "soulmate" subject for a moment:
I believe there is more than one kind of soulmate for each person. There is the main one, the major one, the one and only true love, the other half. That is the soulmate that plays the largest and most obvious role *as* a soulmate. But there are other kinds as well.
There are soulmates who are there solely to teach you, and then move out of your life. They deliver major lessons, possibly under the guise of your enemy, but the lessons they teach change who you are and make you more complete.
Then there are soulmates who *you* teach lessons to. The people you teach are better for knowing you, and you are more complete for passing on your wisdom.
And finally, there are soulmates for companionship and comfort; friends sent to you in your times of need. These can be a best friend, a pet, or the second wife of a widower. With all of these soulmates, you are more complete for knowing them...

So with that, another theory is that soulmates are actually parts of the *same soul* reuniting during a lifetime. That, no matter where each one originates, they are drawn toward one another, and their meeting is inevitible. Why do you think internet dating has such a good success rate? ^_~

you seem to be saying that there are people your're destined to meet at certain parts of your life Melichan.
its very interesting theory yu have there. Its a very romantic way of putting it too.
I really want to believe there is a destined special person for me out there but it conflicts with my scientific side.
