Whether they part or not depends somewhat on how the "afterlife" is set up in the series. After all Belldandy doesn't necessarily maintain a "corporeal" form all the time... well who knows. lol
But after Keichi sheds this mortal coil, who says they have to part then? After all keichi is such a nice guy surely he'll go to heaven when he passes away. And with Keichi no longer on earth Belldandy would have to return to... :D:D

If he is promoted then it's good. But even if he doesn't get promoted he will always be himself and be with Belldandy.:)

i think maybe belldandy would try to make them young again i guess..

I'd think that there would be a bigger chance of Belldandy giving up her Goddess powers then Keiichi becoming a God. How does one become a god, anyway? ...hmm...

Perhaps he is a god already, with his memories and powers suppressed, sent to grow up and live as a mortal for the education on humanity( the goddess's biggest clients after all)

I think he does have a special purpose, with all the things he's been gone through and the fact that he and Belldandy not only are together now, but also knew eachother as children. Yet I don't think that he's some kind of God, it would be rather strange that a possible God, who'd be able to do so much good as his heart is as gentle and kind as Belldandy's, would be stripped of his powers and memories, for that matter.

In an issue of the manga not published in America, Keiichi has a very interesting conversation with Peorth that sheds some light on the issue... the more you read, the more obvious it becomes that Keiichi is not just a mere mortal.

And discussing Drag-on (and on and on) ball in the same breath as Ah! My Goddess... for shame. DB is the worst piece of garbage ever... the animation style is ugly, the characters are 1 dimensional, and the fight scenes are stretched out beyond any realm of sanity ("I will begin charging my super ultimate Chalupa-blast now, so that I may fire it seven episodes from now")
