since you live in Canada you dont have it as bad (kind of jelouse than remembers he hates snow) but here all are major news orinizations are corprate owened and will naturally restrict what is said.
American news has degraded to sensationalism and quick one line, no info stories. for comperison sake compare an average American report to the same report as covered by NPR or the BBC

"Ambrosia and Mede", the food of the gods according to the Greeks. It would taste like nothing on earth, tingly all your senses and would make you go into a euphoric state...but only the first time. ^_^ Imagine people getting addicted to the taste of heaven.

I dont think heaven has a taste I think its an emotion ^-^ or a psiritual state of calm and enlightenment. Orperhaps it woud taste like a sweet yet rich warm wine like in communion ^-^ f it had to be labeled with a taste that is.
