He's a director...

Princess Mononoke
Kiki's Delivery Service
Spirited Away
Grave of the Fireflies

Good stuff, but not as good as it is hyped to be in my humble opinion.

GYAAA! is right! Wow, K1, you need to do some catching up, stat! Miyazaki's film Spirited Away even won an academy award in the US! And Morphee, I'm jealous... Howl's isn't even out here yet! They did just release Nausicaa, Porco Russo, and the one about the cat, though.

Keiichi-K1, a good place to start is with Princess Mononoke. It is one of the more adult works, and as a Brit, you should appreciate the fact that Neil Gaimen (of "Sandman" and "Neverwhere" fame) did the English script!

He's the author who did the Sandman Comic Book. He also wrote the novel "Neverwhere," which was made into a miniseries on the BBC. He also wrote "American Gods" and "Star Dust". Finally, he cowrote the book "Good Omens" with Terry Pratchet (soon to be a major motion picture according to rumors I've heard. Very good writer... as much as I love anime, every once in a while you should read something without pictures

:| :wow:
