Hmmm tough Question there are so many Chobits is one of my favorites also ROD, Rurouni kenshin ,Gunslinger girl ,Pani Poni Dash. The Melancholy of Suzimaya Huruhi ,Serial Experiment Lain ,Mahoromatic. thats good for starters

Only the last episodes are truthfully excellent. The first half is mostly otaku pander.
