aww spiders are nice, and good for keeping the bug population down. I saw one in Texas once that was shiny blue with furry black legs, like a small tarantula, it was about twice the size of my thumbnail, and just beautifull. There's a tiny kind that lives in the woods around here, about the size of a pencil eraser, that looks like a little ruby....
Critters in my house have to be coaxed onto a sheet of paper and removed before someone else sees them, although bees and hornets get a glass cage first. Mosquitoes, Deerflies, and Blackflies I squish with abandon however, they're just a bit too thick here in the summer.

I don't mind spiders as long as it is not the black widow and tarantula.

tarantulas are the only kind of spider i like! they are sooo cute and fuzzy! they are so big too and thats so cool! i'd just make sure it was devenomized or whatever so i could hold it and not get poisoned.

the only times i'll enjoy seeing a snake, or a tarantula, or any other big hairy venemous animal will be in a book or a zoo... though they don't scare me to death, i wouldn't really spend a good time in front or near them without a glass between us...

I remember a time I was in the basement with a plate, I slipped on a sheet and fell to the ground. the plate that I was carrying broke.

oh so it's like the story of the mother in law's vase... you hate it because it's so ugly, you break it and you find out she had given it to you because she didn't like it either... although you didn't hate the plate maybe...

I remember a time that I was taking the garbage out and I didn't know there was glass in it. the glass cut my leg open and my leg was bleeding. now on my leg, I have a scar from that.

ouch! i was climbing a fence once when i was younger, and as i was jumping down the other side i gashed my arm on the barbed wire on the top of the fence. i didn't even feel it but i still have a faint scar on my arm from it.
