Oh silly. No, it's true. When the sun expands to a Red Giant before finally blowing up and forming a White Dwarf (those really are the names) or a black whole or something, it will swallow up the three inner planets. Which will be like in -ages-. So you don't have to cancel anything yet.

Hmmm, from what i read, earth may or may not be swallowed, more or less it will be hell on earth. the Sun will not be turned into a black hole, as it is one of the smaller types of star. the other type of stars, which are tons bigger than our sun, will swell into a red supergiant, before collapsing into its own gravity to becomea pulsar or a black hole. yeah, it will be around 5 billion yrs before Amageddon happens........

oops, make a mistake. It's a neutron star,not a pulsar. it has a core mass of less than 3 solar masses and has a extremely dense core.
