the "M-scale" was part of a private joke I had with Kei, concerning some of his, for lack of a better term, Emo tendencies ie: oversensitivity, internalisation and a few other issues we've talked about.
Yes M-scale refers to masculinity, I never claimed low scores were bad, or that men possessing femininty were bad as a few of the girls seemed to have leapt to the conclusion that was what I was saying for which I'm rather offended.
The basis of the M-scale can be found in a number of psychological tests which treat masculinity and feminity as two ends of a sliding continuum, as opposed to polar extremes, stating that the ideal individual should score close to zero regardless of gender, and only those who have a high negative or positive score are likely to experience problems with various forms of social and interpersonal interaction.
