I know you have a degree in English, and that's why I know that you're analysing and thinking critically into anime. Such literature and the works behind language can be a powerful tool, ne? :heh:
I tend to be like that, although I've no degree whatsoever yet. (Currently studying psychology.)
I tend to be critical like you are in another forum about anime. Most of the threads I put up there are about critical debates on fansubs and the great dub vs sub debate, as well as other anime news like acquisitions, seiyuu and production.
However, barely anyone replies to my threads because they're so deep and complex. Most of my posts in other people's threads are quite long and significant, but people tend to dismiss and not read them at all.
And for that reason, people in that forum have tended to form a gap and more or less keep away from me, if not dislike me.
But in general, I'm a very loving guy, who posts a lot of fun and happy comments everywhere, it's just that my critical analyses of things can scare people away.
