Ah! My Goddess TV Dvds are widescreen (1.75:1).
It means there's much image that gets lost of sigh in the fansub episodes (about 30% of image)
This makes buying the dvds something worth, specially if you have a 16:9 TV ^_^

wow that's for sure is so fun, having some images shows more in the dvd version, but hell where can i buy it here in the prhilippines?

Yes, i saw a few parts from my friend, but we haven't got a 16:9 tv and in this case the images are reduced with some difficult to enjoy to watch :(

and the other issue is that some of the image details were cutted out, just like in my case, i've burned 3 episodes in a cd then i watched it in my 16'' colored tv then when i start playing i saw that the subtitles were cannot be seen unlike in the computer where you can read the subtitiles, i wish this will not be the case in the dvd version.

That would have been good... if it was distabuated propley over here in the UK... which it isn't, like nearly every anime.

yup, i also noticed that. just like what bell have example. the lightings and the colors are more detailed and nice screenshots

guess what, the first dvd of the season 2 is now avilable in japan region 2 of course.....

The street date of the second dvd of AMS S2 is august 25, no image yet :cry:

So they are going to do the same thing as before, poorly distbate it.
