details are good.
were you watching it on your pc or dvd player?
what video player were you using?
what type of file is it you are watching? (ogm, ogg, mkv and a bunch more)
how did you get the video if downloaded and if downloaded did it finish downloading? (may of stoped downloading or someting, but the file didnt get deleted.)

>>>you mean that the message appear in your hardrive? if so, i recomend that you backup your precious files immedietly. If the situation will get worse, the hardrive might not read anymore, and your files will gonna be bye-bye...you'll not just scream but also faint...

but, if the message appears in the cd then try cleaning it. If there are no changes, throw it in the waste bin because the cd is busted... :p

keiichiroy, if you worry about the breakdown of the hard disk, I think that it is the best to use the RAID function.
But this time, your motherboard must support RAID function, and it need some skills about harddisk.
I'm regrettable that I can't help you, because I didn't use RAID...

See Wikipedia for more information...
